Job Title - Customer Service Specialist
Location - Birmingham (Near City Centre)
Salary - circa £14500
The Company:
An established company providing utility services to both commercial and residential clients.
The Role:
Working as part of a specialist customer service team you will be reponsible for analysing customer accounts and identifying missing payments and bills. Your duties may include:
- Working with customer billing data
- Identifying missing information and bills / payments
- Investigation of customer information including tracing the movement of customers who have changed premises
- Calculating charges and arranging bills for outstanding payments
- Speaking with customers to resolve problems and negotiate payments
- Setting up customer account details for billing
- Arranging visits
- Producing letters to customers
The Successful Candidate:
Applicants must have previous experience of customer service within an office environment. Key skills for the role are:
- Confident, friendly and professional telephone manner
- High levels of literacy and numeracy (4 GCSE grades C or equivalent to include Maths & English)
- Proficient in the use of Word and basic level Excel
