Job Title: Collections Advisor
Location: Solihull
Salary: £13000 - £16500 (Dependant on experience)

The Role:
Based within a contact centre in Solihull you will be responsible for contacting customers who are in arreas with a view to arranging an action plan to clear their arrears.
Duties to include:
- Advising customers of debts on their accounts
- Building a rapport with the customer
- Liaising with customers via telephone or letter
- Liasing with third party contacts such as solicitors, debt advice companies, executors and insurance companies
- Ensuring customers details are up-to-date on the system
- Resolving customer complaints and queries
- Making your own decisions based upon customers individual circumstances
- Taking payments over the phone
Hours to be 12.30pm - 21.00pm Mon - Fri
The Successful Candidate:
Must have at least 12 months previous collections experience, or experince in a targeted customer service role. An ability to challenge and be assertive whilst maintaing a professional standard is desired. A positive attitude is key as is the ability to listen and digest conversation.
