The Company
Our client is one of the UK’s leading full service law firms, who specialise in commercial and consumer debt recovery, operating from modern offices with great facilities now have opportunities for two experienced Team Leaders.
The Role
Working within the collections department and reporting to the Head of Operations, the main role of Collections Team Leader is to effectively manage a debt collections team, this will include staff discipline, absence management, performance reviews, coaching, ensuring policies and requirements are adhered to and ensuring office standards are met. The ideal candidate will be expected to motivate their team of Legal Collectors to ensure set targets are met both within the team and individually and complete daily briefs for the team. You will be required to liaise with other Team leaders, Heads of Operations, Training departments and HR as and when necessary. The salary band is between £16-18k, but this may be negotiable for a candidate with extensive experience within a supervisory role within a collections environment. Our client operates a shift pattern between 8am and 8pm and every other Saturday 9am-12pm. This position is based in Stratford-upon-Avon but is easily commutable from Leamington Spa, Warwick, Alcester, Studley, Redditch and all other surrounding areas in the Warwickshire and Worcestershire areas.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate should have two years or more experience within a debt collection environment or similar supervisory role in a customer service or sales environment and posess excellent MS office skills. You will also have the ability to communicate well at all levels and demonstrate leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a professional disposition and a forward thinking approach. You will need to be flexible, work well under pressure and motivate others.
