Job Title: Internal Collections Advisor/Debt recovery

The Role:
Based within a high end contact centre in Sheldon you will be responsible for contacting customers who are in arrears to arrange payment plans to bring their accounts up-to-date.
Duties to include:
- Advising customers of debts on their accounts
- Showing empathy towards the customer
- Building a rapport with the customer
- Liaising with customers via telephone or letter
- Making decisions based upon customers individual circumstances
- Liasing with third party contacts such as solicitors, debt advice companies, executors and insurance companies
- Ensuring customers details are correct on the database
- Taking payments
- Dealing with customer complaints and queries
Hours of work are 35 per week between 09.00am - 18.00pm Mon - Fri.
The Successful Candidate:
You must have experience within a target driven environment, ideally debt recovery/collections and be educated to GCSE level with a minimum of 5 passes to include English & Maths. Previous customer service experience essential ideally within a contact centre environment however candidates displaying exceptional levels of customer service will also be considered. A professional and confident phone manner is essential as is the ability to make your own decisions based on factual information. Problem solving skills are key. Must be computer literate.
