I contacted ASC after I had seen details of a role I was interested in on totaljobs.com. Initially I wasn’t sure if my experience was suitable for the particular role as my experience is in retail and the role was manufacturing.

It was very clear from the start that ASC had a clear understanding of the actual role and the requirements of the employer as they questioned me very closely about my actual experience and my reasons for looking for a new role. They also quickly understood my needs in terms of finding an employer that would match my expectations in terms of culture and values.

Through out the process ASC kept me informed, managed my appointment times around my current work commitments, which really helped by not adding to the stress of an already stressful role and clearly and accurately explained the culture of the business, and the people who I would be working with. Throughout my time as a student at University and since leaving my PGCE course in March 2006, I have been involved with many different recruitment agencies. In my experience, I have found that many do not listen carefully enough to what it is I would really like to gain, and as such put me forward for positions I don’t really want. Since joining ASC in January this year, I felt that ASC always really listened to what it was I wanted and strived to get me appropriate work. I pointed that what I really wanted was a Graduate role, and thanks to ASC, this is what I got. I am now looking forward to starting my new full time position as a Junior Buyer and I want to say a big thanks to everyone at ASC.

In my experience many legal recruitment agencies talk the talk and fail to deliver if they fail to place you within a short period of time. However, in my recent experience, I believe ASC is the exception to this, in that they go the “extra mile for you”.
