A Grinding Machine Setter/CNC Grinding Machinist is required for a company based in the Black country area, which is commutable from areas such as Dudley, West Bromwich, Smethwick, Oldbury, Halesowen, Wednesbury and Tipton.

Salary for the role is negotiable dependant on experience, minimum of £9.50 - 10.50 p/h

The company are a leading manufacturer of large bearings for various industries including automotive, with various sites across the UK.

Working in the engineering department duties include -

Setting and operating of various grinding machines manufacturing bearings
Processing of internal and external components
Using manual and CNC machines including Bryants, Cincinatti and Healds
Working from detailed drawings ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Using quality measuring equipment to check off the components, up to 1 metre in diameter

The Successful Candidate must have experience with working in a similar role with a strong knowledge of conventional and CNC grinding machines. Must also have experience with working to extremely tight tolerances, and be able to inspect and assess own work as you go along. Position would suit someone with a toolroom background, for the right candidate further training would be offered to develop their skills.

Working days initially, then switching to nights working Monday to Thursday 22:00pm - 07:30am
Overtime available also.
