My client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis based in Cheshire.
Our client have a huge amount of experience in the design an manufacture of "bespoke handling equipment". The Mechanical Designeer Engineer must have a Mechancial Engineering Degree coupled with 3D CAD design skills in Pro-Engineering Wildfire 3.

Duties include:-

As a Mechancial Design Engineer you will be responsible for:-

the development of engineering and design solutions for both current and future projects from feasibility through to product including computer calculations, using CAD systems
Preparation of illustrations for use in manuals
Maintaining product technical files and documentation
To arrange prototype parts and materials

The Essential experience for this design role includes:-

A degree in Mechancial Engineering
Substantial 3D CAD experience preferably in Pro-E Wildfire 3
Good modelling skills and background in Engineering
Good organisational skills and a methodical thinker
Ability to multi-task as you will be working on several projects at any one time
Good communication and administrative skills
Good liaison skills dealing with internal staff and problem-solving ability

Permanent role
Salary is £25,000 - £28,000 PA
22 days holiday
Contributory Pension after the first 3 months
Death-in-Service Cover
