Managing Director

Duties:
Responsible for the general management role of the facility including profit and loss. Business includes both manufacturing for specific products for the Canadian market as well as aftermarket service and repair of oil field and other related products. Responsible for sales, operations, customer satisfaction, Finance, human resources and quality. Ensures compliance of company, safety, environmental and Governmental policies and regulations. Develop operational, financial and business plans and budgets And manages facility performance. Takes appropriate action to ensure these plans are met. Develops and implement lean manufacturing processes and approaches within the facility.

Accountabilities:
1. Manages all day to day facility functions such as operations and administrative functions including
Local accounting and HR functions
2. Develops, implements and achieves annual business plan for the operation including profit and
Loss, growth and balance objectives for both manufacturing and aftermarket services business
3. Responsible for managing budgets and costs within the facility
4. Responsible for quality of all products, services and facility capability and cleanliness. Manage all
Warranty and scrap expenses
5. Responsible for customer satisfaction and meeting delivery requirements
6. Approves all facility expenditures in accordance to business plan and budget
7. Develop and implement capital spending plans to meet the on going needs of the business.
8. Assures that both short term and long term human resources needs of the operation are being met.
This includes safety, selection and hiring, training, manpower planning, performance and
Motivation matters, career planning, development and terminations in accordance with company
Guidelines and approved business plans. All terminations should be reviewed by the next level of
Management and human resources

Education/Qualifications:
1. Engineering or Technical background preferably through a formal bachelor’s degree program
2. Technical sales experience, operations experience including at management level.
3. Strong product knowledge of oil field equipment. Must have previous oil field background
And knowledge of customers’ processes.
4. Ability to handle human resource issues
