Business Development Manager – Commercial Tyres
South East of England
Salary £31,000 - £32,000 plus bonus (average of 2 months salary)

The role encompasses an approximate 80/20 mix of new business development and the account management of existing business accounts across a territory covering the South East of England.
The client base will comprise of truck fleet users ranging from 20 to 150 vehicles, although the successful applicant will be able to prospect larger business accounts too.

In addition to maximising sales the Business Development Manager is responsible for;
• Developing and implementing business plans for clients
• Conducting business meetings including performance reviews
• Developing strategies for profitable growth
• Providing information on brands, products and prices to existing and prospective clients
• Selling added value solutions to clients

Essential Experience / Person Specification
Sales experience, either in commercial tyres or the commercial vehicle industry is essential
Able to evidence over-achievement of sales targets in previous roles
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, able to produce and deliver presentations on PowerPoint in a group setting

The role offers the individual the scope to manage the territory as their own business. We are therefore inviting applications from innovative and commercially minded candidates with financial acumen.

Qualifications Required
Minimum of A-Level passes in Maths and English (or equivalent), ideally degree educated within a business or marketing discipline
