Utilities Engineer

£42000 - £45000 per annum + pension and benefits
We are currently recruiting a Utilities Engineer for a leading ‘blue chip’ manufacturing company for their sites in the West Midlands.
As a Utilities Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:
Maintenance management of 6KVa distribution and switching network
Routine and emergency HV switching
Management of site energy usage and climate levy requirements
Identify and create action plans to reduce energy costs
Implementation of energy reduction plan
Manage facilities contracts
Maintain core units (HVAC, boiler houses, sub-stations etc.)
Ensure health, safety and environmental policies are adhered to
The successful applicant will be of graduate calibre with significant experience within utilities (power generation, CHP, district heating) petro-chem or medium to heavy engineering environments . You should be HV authorised and have a proven track record in energy savings
A good package including pension, bonus and benefits with a salary up to £45K p.a. are on offer to the successful applicant
