Job Title: Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: Circa £20,000 - £23,000 dependant on experience (3-6 months probation)
Hours: 09.00am – 17.30pm
The Company:
An international, World class engineering company are looking for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support the Sales & Marketing function of the business and to continually bring new customers into the business.
The Role:
Qualify leads passed on by the Sales & Marketing manager utilising an agreed format
Contact companies and arrange visits for the Sales & Marketing manager/MD at potential clients’ premises
Maintain the existing database
Market research to find new potential customers and new markets to diversify into
Coordinate/assist with preparations for attending exhibitions
Liaise with external agencies regarding various types of PR activities
The Successful Candidate:
Previous sales experience essential, preferably working in an engineering or technically minded industry
Ability to use modern computerised tools
Drive and enthusiasm
The ability to achieve consistent results under your own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Professional telephone manner
Astute commercial awareness
Ability to maintain a positive attitude when working under pressure
