Information Technology
IT is the area of managing technology and spans a wide variety of areas that include but are not limited to things such as processes, computer software, information systems, computer hardware, programming languages and data constructs. In short, anything that renders data, information or perceived knowledge in any visual format whatsoever, via any multimedia distribution mechanism, is considered part of the domain space known as Information Technology (IT).

It is a “systematic approach to the analysis, design, assessment, implementation, test, maintenance and re-engineering of software, that is, the application of engineering to software.
A Software Engineer is an engineer who applies the principles of software engineering to the design, development, testing and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers or anything containing software, such as computer chips, work.
