I have been with ASC since the company was first established and I work closely with our MD to help the teams deliver on the overall business strategy.

When I first changed career to work in recruitment it was because I wanted to be in a people focused environment and this is still something that is very important to me. I believe that to be able to deliver a good service to our customers we have to spend time understanding their needs and have the expertise to provide sound advice to both clients and candidates. 

Another important part of my role is to ensure we work to best practice, not only in how we deal with our customers but also compliance and I am very proud that we have now gained REC Audited Status which is evidence that not only do we have the right processes in place but they are actively demonstrated by the team here on a day to day basis.

The diversity of my roles means I still have the same passion for people that I had when I first started out over 30 years ago.

The best place I've travelled to is....

New Zealand – stayed with family and then travelled to the South Island – amazing place, went whale watching and saw the home of bungee jumping !!! But no I didn’t – I was far too chicken!!!
