As Sales Director at ASC Connections, I lead our team of specialist recruitment consultants, supporting businesses across the UK with permanent, contract and executive-level recruitment solutions. My passion has always been rooted in sales and relationship building, which has shaped my progression through the business and into a leadership role.

I firmly believe that recruitment is, and always will be, a people-focused industry. Whilst AI and technology can support the process, they can never replace genuine human interaction. That's why I actively encourage both telephone conversations and face-to-face meetings wherever possible. To truly understand a client's needs, it's imperative that we spend time on-site, learning not only the technical skills and experience required but also the personalities and culture that make a successful long-term hire.

I pride myself on providing a consultative and tailored approach, helping businesses attract the right talent while building lasting partnerships. My goal as Sales Director is to instil the same values throughout our team, ensuring every client receives an exceptional and personalised recruitment experience.

The out of work me....
Life outside of work is wonderfully hectic. My partner and I have four children between us, two boys aged 8 and two girls aged 12, so there is rarely a quiet weekend in our household.
We love getting outdoors and making memories together, whether that's camping somewhere new in the UK, exploring Europe, or simply finding our next family adventure. We're passionate about giving the children as many outdoor experiences as possible and encouraging them to appreciate everything that comes with it. With such a busy family life, work occasionally feels like a bit of respite, although I wouldn't admit that too loudly at home!
When we do get some time to ourselves, my partner and I enjoy escaping for city breaks and beach holidays, making the most of every opportunity to travel.

An interesting fact about me is....
I was sponsored to move to Cairns, Australia, to establish and run an allied health recruitment company. After spending 18 months building the business overseas, I returned to the UK, but the company continues to thrive today. The experience gave me a unique perspective on recruitment, business development and the importance of building strong relationships, no matter where in the world you are.
