A Capstan Setter is required to join a manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton, supplying various clients with high performance bolts and fasteners. As a capstan setter you will be responsible for the setting and operating of Ward 2DB & 3DB lathes, supplying companies in the MOD and Oil & Gas industries, amongst others.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering firm on a temp-to-perm basis. To be considered, you should have experience working within a similar machining role.
The duties of this Capstan Setter role include;
- Setting and operating 2DB & 3DB Capstan lathes
- Working from engineering drawings
- Loading and unloading the machine
- Producing one offs and small batch work
- Any other duties as and when required
This role will be working permanent days, 8:00am – 4:30pm (3:30pm finish on Friday).
The pay rate is negotiable depending on experience, in the region of £13.50 - £14.50 per hour.
