CMM Programmer duties include –
- Measuring products using hand-held equipment and CMM machinery.
- Editing and creating new programs when required.
- Identifying and reporting repeating quality concerns.
- Documenting and reporting quality defects.
- Maintaining systems to ensure calibration plans are easily accessible.
CMM Programmer desirable skills and experience –
- Experience in a similar role, e.g., Metrology Engineer or CMM Operator.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
- Ability to operate and program CMM machinery, troubleshoot, and problem-solve.
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND) or training.
- Familiarity with PC-DMIS software and Keyence scanners.
