CNC Programmer
Solihull / £17.00 - £18.50 per hour / Days
Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

The CNC Programmer Role
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Modifying existing CNC programs to improve efficiency and quality.
- Working on HAAS VMC machining centres.
- Manufacturing precision components from engineering drawings.
- Supporting apprentices and sharing your machining knowledge.
- Troubleshooting machining issues and assisting with continuous improvement.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Working closely with production and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.
The ideal CNC Programmer
You'll be an experienced CNC Programmer with CNC milling experience and the confidence to support others on the shop floor.
You'll ideally have experience with:
- CNC Milling
- HAAS controls
- VMC machining centres
- Fanuc controls
- G-Code editing/modification
- Reading engineering drawings
- Working to tight tolerances
Previous mentoring experience isn't essential. What's important is having the attitude and willingness to pass on your knowledge to apprentices and less experienced engineers.
