CNC Programmer

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer to join a long-established precision manufacturing business based in Redditch, specialising in high-volume, close-tolerance components for a range of industrial sectors.

This CNC Programmer role is days-based and offers flexible working hours, providing an excellent work–life balance within a stable and technically focused manufacturing environment. Applications are welcomed from CNC Programmers seeking either full - time or part-time positions.

The role will play a key part in supporting production, improving efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards across manufacturing operations.

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing, developing and optimising CNC programmes to support high-volume precision machining.
  • Working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure components are manufactured accurately and efficiently.
  • Loading programmes and making amendments or offsets where required.
  • Supporting process improvements, cycle-time reductions and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshooting machining issues and helping to identify improvements to manufacturing processes.
  • Supporting both new and existing production requirements.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and consistency across manufacturing operations.

The successful CNC Programmer will:

  • Have previous experience working within a precision engineering or high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Be confident programming, editing and optimising CNC machinery.
  • Be comfortable working closely with production and engineering teams.
  • Ideally have experience with wire forming machinery, particularly RM35 multi-slide or 4-slide machinery.
  • Experience programming, setting or operating RM35 multi-slide / 4-slide wire forming machinery would be advantageous.
  • Have a strong understanding of close-tolerance components and production processes.
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and cycle times.
