I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer that designs and builds specialist equipment for customers across a range of industries.

The CNC Turner Role
- Program, set and operate CNC turning machines using Siemens controls.
- Work on DMG CLX 350 and 450 machines.
- Produce precision components from engineering drawings.
- Use Hypermill for CNC programming.
- Work with driven tooling and twin-spindle machines.
- Edit and optimise programs to maintain component quality and machining efficiency.
- Inspect your own work to ensure components meet drawing specifications and tolerances.
- Work closely with engineering and production colleagues to meet delivery requirements.
- Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and safe working.
CNC Turner Experience Required
- Proven CNC turning experience, including machine setting and operation.
- Experience using Siemens controls.
- Programming experience using Hypermill.
- Experience with driven tooling and twin spindles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- A good understanding of inspection and quality control processes.
- Relevant CNC machining training or qualifications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What's on Offer?
- Hourly rate in the region of £20-£22 per hour
- Overtime paid at time-and-a-half.
- 39-hour working week on days.
