A Counterbalance Forklift Driver (FLT) is required for a large steel processing company based in Rowley Regis. It is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, multi-national steel processing company during a period of growth.
This forklift driver position is working on a direct permanent basis – with a permanent contract from day one and no agency period.
Duties include:
- Driving a counterbalance forklift truck to handle steel
- Assisting with loading / offloading steel on machine lines
- Shrink-wrapping, packing and palletising stock
- Working on either Goods In or Goods Out
- Loading / unloading vehicles for dispatch
You will need an in-date Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence for this role – Sideloader experience would be beneficial.
This position is working days to begin with but you MUST have flexibility to work mornings / afternoons rotating;
- Days - 7:00am – 3:00pm / 1:00pm finish on Fridays
- Moving onto mornings afternoons rotating
- The rate of pay is £12.21 to begin with whilst on days
