A Grinder is required to join a manufacturing company in the Aldridge area of Walsall on a day shift pattern. The company manufacture dies and tooling for the printing industry.
Your duties and responsibilities as a Grinder will include;
- Hand sharpening rotary dies, focusing on the cavity inside the die to ensure tight spec finishing
- Using scopes to re-sharpen repaired dies
- Operating grinding machines to accurately grind metal dies to tight tolerances and achieve high surface finishes
- Using measuring equipment to ensure precision and quality
- Supporting general production activities where required
The hours / pay rates for this Grinder role are;
- Mon–Fri, 7:00am – 3:00pm (40 hours)
- Hourly rate negotiable
- Temp to perm
