Health & Safety Advisor duties include –
- Maintain HSE policies in line with UK legislation and company standards.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments across site operations.
- Investigate incidents, identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions.
- Track environmental performance and produce reports for senior management.
- Manage emergency response plans and coordinate drills.
- Support site teams and deputise for the HSE Manager when required.
Health & Safety Advisor desirable skills and experience –
- Experience in a similar role (HSE Advisor, Health & Safety Officer etc).
- Strong environmental exposure within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Systems experience including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 18001.
- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
