Due to continued growth and a strong order book, the company is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to manufacture, maintain, and repair both prototype and fully hardened production tools.
Up to £40,000, 23+8 days holiday, 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday, 08.00 – 16.00 Fridays
As a Toolmaker your duties will include:
- Manufacturing, modification, and repair of injection mould tools to a high standard
- Operating CNC and conventional toolroom machinery, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM/wire eroders
- Using hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grinders
- Fault-finding and wiring of hot runner systems
For the role of Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in injection mould Toolmaking, and high precision machining, milling, grinding and fitting, both maintenance/repair and manufacture.
- Understand and have experience of fitting and assembly of complex mould tools including their repair
- Have the ability to work to tight time scales without compromising quality and safety
- Be knowledgeable and confident working with hot runner systems
