Maintenance & Facilities Engineer – Bromsgrove Area – Permanent
We’re recruiting for an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing business that is expanding their operations. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, who enjoys problem solving and is confident working with a variety of production machinery.
The Role
- Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery and facility equipment.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Support process improvements and hands-on trials.
- Create and update SOPs, equipment documentation, and process flows.
- Set up and maintain filling machines, labellers, conveyors and related assets.
- Work closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams.
Experience & Skills
- Apprenticeship trained with HNC/HND or equivalent.
- Strong maintenance and troubleshooting background.
- Comfortable with a wide range of production machinery.
- Good understanding of process engineering fundamentals.
- Advantageous: ISO/QMS experience, RCA tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA), SPC/Lean Six Sigma.
