You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment across multiple sites, contributing to reduced downtime, enhanced reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is paying in the region of £40,000 - £45,000
and will cover a rotating shift pattern:
Monday–Thursday 6:00am–3:00pm & 11:00am–8:00pm (weekly rotation), Friday 8:00am–1:00pm. Flexibility and occasional weekend work may be required.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:
- Providing reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance support, ensuring quick resolution and accurate documentation.
- Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) routines in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Performing fault finding and permanent fixes to minimise equipment downtime.
- Supporting new installations, equipment upgrades, and refurbishments to maintain optimal performance.
- Collaborating with the Maintenance Manager on risk assessments and replacement planning based on equipment condition.
- Ensuring all maintenance work complies with UK Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
- Assisting with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) usage for maintenance tracking and planning.
- Verifying contractors' RAMS, permits to work, and ensuring third-party compliance while on site.
Maintenance Engineer desired skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Good knowledge of TPM practices and use of CMMS systems.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
