We are working in partnership with a long-established and highly respected manufacturer specialising in highway infrastructure solutions. They are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure their production facility continues to provide on-time-in-full support.
Maintenance Engineer daily duties
- Carry out routine maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on production equipment.
- Conduct PUWER and LOLER compliance checks to ensure systems are always maintained.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests.
- Support the development of a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
- Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and quality teams to minimise downtime.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and mentor junior engineers.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, DSEAR, and machinery safety legislation.
- Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable (training provided if required).
