A well-established global manufacturer of extraction systems is continuing to expand, and are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their growing engineering team. This is a permanent opportunity within a company that has substantial investment planned in new machinery and production lines, this role offers the chance to contribute to world-class standards across reliability, productivity, and quality — while supporting the ongoing development of a highly automated site. This role is paying in the region of £58,000 - £63,500 and covers a 3 shift pattern but this will change in the future.
Key Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer:
- Provide effective and efficient electrical and mechanical maintenance support.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure smooth running of the production machinery.
- Diagnose and rectify faults to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Support equipment refurbishments, installations, and upgrades to optimise performance.
- Conduct reliability checks and ensure compliance with electrical standards.
- Source and order parts or equipment when required.
- Develop and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Predictive Maintenance routines, tracking progress through KPIs.
Skills & Experience as a Maintenance Engineer:
- Proven background in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Electrically biased but with sound mechanical competence.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required.
- Qualified to at least Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
