Manufacturing Team Leader (Late Shift)
36.5 hours per week | Monday to Thursday | Every Friday Off

Known for its engineering excellence, commitment to quality and investment in modern manufacturing, the company is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader to lead a team of approximately 30 employees on a dedicated late shift operation.
The Role of the Manufacturing Team Leader
This role is about more than managing production output. The successful candidate will lead, motivate and develop an established team, helping to foster a positive, accountable and high-performing culture.
With a strong focus on people leadership, you will build trust and engagement across the workforce, drive improvements in communication and team performance, and support the wider business in achieving its operational goals. Over time, the role will also play an increasing part in continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives.
Working closely with senior leadership and support functions, you will be the key point of leadership for the late shift operation.
Key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Team Leader include:
- Leading and developing a team of approximately 30 production employees.
- Creating a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Managing performance, attendance and employee relations matters.
- Driving high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
- Supporting production activities to meet customer requirements.
- Acting as the main escalation point for operational issues during the shift.
- Working closely with engineering, planning and quality teams.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and team performance.
- Ensuring effective shift handovers and operational continuity.
About You
We are keen to hear from individuals with leadership experience within manufacturing, production or other regulated environments.
You may currently be a Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Supervisor. Most importantly, you will be a strong people manager who can engage an established workforce, gain buy-in, build credibility and lead positive change.
