Join a Leading CNC Machinery Team as a Mechanical Service Engineer – UK
Our client, a respected distributor of world-class CNC machine tools, is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their growing and well-regarded team. You’ll provide expert support across the UK working on high-end CNC machinery for a diverse customer base.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Mechanical servicing, maintenance, and breakdown support for CNC machine tools
- Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
- Ball screw and linear guide replacement
- Spindle exchanges and gib adjustment/scraping
- CNC machine installations including geometrics and alignments
What You’ll Need:
Essential:
- Qualifications in mechanical engineering or maintenance disciplines
- Strong hands-on experience working with CNC machine tools – especially lathes and machining centres
- Confident in tasks such as servicing, mechanical repairs, fault diagnosis, and machine alignment
Desirable:
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Okuma control systems
- Background in scraping, alignment checks, and precision installations
