As an Injection Moulding Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient running of moulding machines, automation equipment, robots, and associated ancillary machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Condition setting and tool changing
- Troubleshooting and resolving production and process issue
- Carrying out preventative and basic maintenance activities
- Supporting machine uptime and responding to breakdowns effectively
- Working closely with the Maintenance Team to minimise downtime
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
To be successful in the Injection Moulding Technician role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within plastic injection moulding
- Strong processing and fault-finding knowledge
- Hands-on experience resolving moulding and production issues
- Experience maintaining moulding machinery and automation equipment
- Good attention to detail and documentation skills
- A proactive approach and strong problem-solving ability
