ASC Connections are recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a well-established manufacturing business producing bespoke, high-quality products in Redditch. This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern production environment where quality, precision, and attention to detail are key.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing a variety of components to customer specifications, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Hours: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm weekly rotational - Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week
Pay: £14 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare components and surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix paints and coatings accurately according to specifications.
- Apply paint finishes using spray equipment to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.
- Carry out quality inspections and rectify any defects where required.
- Read and work from job sheets, specifications, and production instructions.
- Maintain spray booths, equipment, and work areas to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with production schedules and deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Support wider manufacturing operations when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Wet Paint Sprayer, Industrial Painter, or Finisher.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, automotive, or production environment.
- Knowledge of paint preparation, mixing, and application techniques.
- Ability to produce a high-quality finish with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload priorities.
