Production Operative – Leicester

Join a leading UK manufacturer of high‑performance composite materials. You’ll be part of a busy, supportive production team creating products used across automotive, aerospace, marine and other high‑tech industries. If you enjoy hands‑on work, teamwork and learning new skills, this role is for you.
Pay & Shifts
- £12.21 per hour for first 8 hours
- Time + 1/3 for the remaining hours
- £15 daily shift allowance (avg £14.71 per hour)
- 12‑hour shifts, 4 on / 4 off
- Rotating Days (06:00–18:00) and Nights (18:00–06:00)
- Must be able to work both—no fixed shifts
What You’ll Do
- Operate automated & manual machinery (full training provided)
- Work on raw materials lines and complete finishing processes
- Carry out quality checks and follow production schedules
- Use computer systems for stock checks & data entry
- Keep accurate records for audits
- Move materials using pump trucks/overhead cranes
- General housekeeping & basic maintenance
- Report any issues to your Line Manager
What You Need
- Basic literacy, numeracy & computer skills
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Ability to work 12‑hour rotating day/night shifts
- Reliable travel for 6am starts
