A Quality Engineer opportunity has become available within an established manufacturing business operating across highly regulated engineering sectors. The company is seeking a customer-focused Quality Engineer to support new product introduction, project quality and the resolution of internal, supplier and customer quality concerns.

Quality Engineer responsibilities include –
- Support new product introduction and existing projects through APQP and PPAP activities.
- Provide quality engineering input during project meetings, working closely with Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing.
- Manage customer quality concerns, warranty claims, concessions, and product returns through to resolution.
- Lead structured 8D investigations, including root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions.
- Complete internal system, process, and product audits, maintaining supporting documentation and closing associated actions.
- Maintain Control Plans, ISIRs, quality KPIs and IMDS submissions in line with customer requirements.
Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience –
- Previous Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of the Core Tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and PPAP.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection requirements.
- Confident communicating with customers and representing a business during meetings.
